Student Teaching Travel Reimbursement

Please download and print the most up-to-date version of the New York State 'Travel Voucher' and 'NYS Mileage Form' from the Travel Section of the Forms page of the Accounts Payable and Travel Services website to submit your travel reimbursement request.

Use either the area SCHOOLS or other area AGENCIES mileage charts to help determine the total allowable mileage for each site.  Please let us know if you do not see your location(s) on the chart, and we will update it accordingly. Please note, we are in the process of verifying and updating the maximum mileage charts. Bold items have been verified, and items in red have been recently updated. Please check back for updates each time you submit mileage reimbursement forms to ensure using the most accurate information.

Travel vouchers should be submitted monthly. Attach as many Personal Auto Mileage forms as necessary to one Travel Voucher, and be sure to include round-trip information.  Once you have completed the forms, submit to the Teacher Certification Office for the Supervisor Signature and processing. Travel forms for student teacher supervision do not need to be signed by department supervisors.
