Please register online through the Continuing Professional Studies Registration System for on-campus seminars and contact their office at 716-878-5907 with registration questions.
Seminar fees are approximately $35 but fees may vary by provider. The seminars are a minimum of two-hours in length. Please note that some providers will be offering training that exceeds the two-hour minimum. You should contact the individual provider for workshop registration dates, fees and times.
Upon completion of the workshop, the service provider will give you a certificate of completion.
If you have completed a seminar but have misplaced your certificate of completion, you may choose to do one of the following:
Call the seminar provider and request an additional copy of the certificate of completion be sent to you. Most providers maintain attendance/completion records. There may be an additional fee for duplicate certificates.
Re-take the seminar and receive a new certificate of completion.
If you have completed your seminars/workshops (from Buffalo State and outside providers) and they are not documented in Degree Works, provide copies of your required seminar certificates of completion to the Continuing Professional Studies Office in CLEV 210. Degrees will not be conferred and program completion will not will not be documented in BANNER if required seminar requirements are not met in DegreeWorks. Contact the Continuing Prefessional Studies Office at 716-878-5907 or firstname.lastname@example.org to verify seminar completion in DegreeWorks.
Continue to submit the Release Authorization Form to the Teacher Certification Office in CHASE 222.
